18 weeks!

My mornings: I am so tired in the mornings when I have to be up before 8. 

My nights: The body pillow is still helping but I don't use it every night. Mostly now it's the vivid dreams keeping me up and then when I have to use the bathroom at 3 am, I have a very hard time going back to sleep.

How far along: 18 weeks! 

How big is baby: Sweet Potato, about 5.6" 

Weight Gain: I think I am back down 2 pounds, so probably around 3 pounds down from my starting weight. Not bad.

How I’m changing: Definitely starting to show a bit. I think I have felt baby a little, but I am still waiting for something really definite.

What I miss: This week it's wine or a little beer... I want some. C says its still to early to give in to a little. I wonder when it's no longer "too early" for just a sip here and there. At least he isn't against caffeine in small quantities.

Symptoms: Definitely feel heavier and bigger. Insomnia, vivid dreams, fatigue, acne, heartburn, acid reflux. I am also itchy. Like itchy everywhere. It's annoying. Also the hair growth is super irritating.

Cravings: Noodles, any kind of noodles. And french fries. 

Food Aversions: Still off and on chicken... but not Turkey. Weird.

Highlights this week: Thanksgiving with friends was fun! We are doing another Friendsiving tomorrow. I was so ready for this 4 day weekend, even after just having had a vacation. Holidays in my job are so hard and stressful.

Maternity clothes:  Belly band to help with belly layering, maternity pants and wearing long shirts and maternity shirts. I need a few more shirts and another pair of pants very soon. Also, my dresses all still work.

Stretch marks: No new ones, I think...

Sleep: Vivid dreams that have me awake all night, now I am almost always waking up for the restroom or some random insomnia around 3 or 4am and then struggling to get back to sleep..

Movement: I think I have felt some things, but it's still faint and hard to tell. I am expecting something bigger in the coming weeks.

SEX: Unknown still. Anatomy Scan is scheduled for 20 weeks and 2 days on 12/15. Just in time for Christmas! 16 days to go!

Labor signs: Hopefully not for 22 more weeks

What I am looking forward to: I am really looking forward to being a little more obviously pregnant, feeling baby, and finding out baby's sex. I keep feeling like it might be a girl, but my appointment yesterday left me with the suspicion that it's a boy. Granted, I don't know how to read baby parts on an ultrasound, it was blurry, and it could have been an umbilical cord or something, but I am really wondering if I saw boy parts. I will no for sure after just under a month.

Milestones: 2 weeks until halfway there!

Other: I just want the holidays to fly by still.
