I can't believe it's been almost a month since the last time I updated.
So, cycle 7 did come after 43 days with 5 days of spotting. Now, I am in cycle 8 and I had a 14 day period. That's right. 14 days. I freaked out a little after 9 days because I had consistently had a 5 day period all of my other cycles, so I called the advice nurse, who recommended that I call my doctor.
After some phone tag and confusion, my doctor explained that due to my anovulatory cycles it is not uncommon to have shorter or longer periods and cycles. She said that if I wanted to, at anytime I can be referred to a reproductive endocrinologist (RE), but I don't think I am ready for that.
True, my temps suggest that I only ovulated twice in these last 8 months, but I am just not ready to move on. We will see how things go, but I am researching my insurance and just praying for something to change soon. I have started to have conversations with C so that we can be more mindful and on the same page of what we would like to do, but every time I bring it up, I start to cry.
It's a bit difficult to imagine that I may need help getting pregnant. Everyone tells me not to worry, and not to feel badly, but I can't help but feel like I am failing as a woman.
I am just trying to focus hard on school. I got another A on A&P and I am on track towards getting my CNA 1 certificate and I should get some college credit for that as well. Tonight I will be applying for an amazing care facility, so hopefully they hire me on.
I made an amazing quinoa salad recipe yesterday, so hopefully I will remember to post that later, and C's birthday is coming up, so I should have some other tasty things to blog about. I should also blog about my garden.
I'm just so tired. I have been working in so many places. Hopefully this week is a bit more calm.
Monday: CNA Clinicals, Work, figure out a cake and smoked meat recipe for C's birthday
Tuesday: Work, maybe a meeting for my Life Skills Trainer (LST) job, then an interview for ANOTHER job.
Wednesday: CNA Clinicals, Work
Thursday: Work, Shop for C's Birthday
Friday: CNA clinicals, Work
Saturday: Clean the house, Prep for Summer term
Sunday: C's Birthday!
