Alright, this may be the first post to show my Nerdiness and not just my social awkwardness and lack of focus when it comes to this blog.
I am currently taking an Anatomy and Physiology class to prepare for applying for a Licensed and Practical Nursing program in 2014. A few weeks ago my lab partner and I were studying the Integumentary System - Skin, protective membranes and connective tissue and all that fun stuff. WHile studying we lookes at a bunch of slides of various organs and skin and we noticed that skin has a really cool microscopic pattern!
Or, we thought so anyway. And so we started talking about how it would be cool to print various microscopic prints onto fabric.
What do you think? Let's see:
Epithelial tissue curtains?
Hmm.
Adipose Pillows?
OH!
Maybe an irregular dense connective tissue skirt!
What do you think? Am I on to something or is this a science nerd inside joke only? I think some of these would make fantastic art prints.
